Students are an important asset for a country, because the student generation is the seed that must be developed into a generation capable of contributing to religion, the homeland and the nation. The success of an education or learning process is not only determined by the factors of a teacher but also determined by the factors of a student, therefore, students who have good morals will have a lot of influence on the development of an educational institution. The problems that we want to find answers to through this research are (1) What is the profile of students according to Hasyim Asy'ari in the book Adabul 'Alim wal Muta'allim? (2) What is the student profile of Rahmatan Lil Alamin according to the Indonesian Ministry of Religion? (3) What is the relevance of the student profile in the book Adabul 'Alim wal Muta'allim to the student profile of Rahmatan Lil Alamin? In answering this problem, researchers used qualitative research with a library model. By using data collection techniques in the form of documentation. Based on this description, the research results can be concluded that the relevance of student profiles according to Hasyim Asy'ari and the student profile of Rahmatan Lil Alamin lie in the same basic values that they want to instill in students, although they may be conveyed using different terminology. Pengaruh Self-Efficacy Dan Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa

Education is a conscious effort made to prepare students through a series of learning and training activities. Awareness of working together to improve education is the key to success in all fields to create a generation that is healthy, virtuous, capable, skilled and enthusiastic in facing the future without depending on other people. This research aims: 1) to determine the self-efficacy of MA Al-Azhar Menganti Gesik students, 2) to determine the learning motivation of MA Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik students, 3) to determine the learning achievement of MA Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik students, 4) to determine the influence of self-efficacy and learning motivation on the learning achievement of MA Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik students. This research is quantitative research. The population in this study was 199 students. The sampling technique used a simple random sampling technique, namely 50 students as research samples. The data collection method used was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the multiple linear regression equation. Based on this description, there is no significant influence between self-efficacy and learning motivation on the learning achievement of MA Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik students. 
These results are based on the results of statistical calculation analysis using the multiple linear regression formula, showing the R Square value is 0.020. This means that the influence of self-efficacy and learning motivation on the learning achievement of MA Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik students is 2%. So this research can be considered not to have a significant influence because the magnitude of the influence is too small

Pengaruh Metode Inkuiri Learning Mat Pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadits Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Kelas IX Di MTs Bustanul Arifin

The focus of this study is on the ninth-grade students at MTs, with the main goal of showcasing how inquiry-based learning approaches are applied in teaching Qur'an and Hadith. Furthermore, the research aims to explore the development of students' critical thinking abilities during the learning process. Another key aim is to evaluate how inquiry-based learning influences the teaching of Qur'an and Hadith at MTs Bustanul Arifin, which is situated in Kebondalem Menganti, Gresik. The study adopts a descriptive quantitative approach, involving the entire population of 70 ninth-grade students. A saturation sampling technique is employed, ensuring that the sample size remains at 70 students. Data collection is conducted through various methods, including observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis employs simple linear regression, utilizing SPSS software version 23. The results highlight a noteworthy impact of the inquiry-based learning approach on the critical thinking skills of ninth- grade students at MTs Bustanul Arifin, Kebondalem Menganti, Gresik. This conclusion is drawn from a t-value of 8.685, which exceeds the threshold t-value of 1.668 at a 5% significance level (0.05). As the t-value (8.685) is higher than the critical value (1.668), the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This confirms that inquiry-based learning contributes significantly to the improvement of students' critical thinking abilities.
