Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Auditory, Intelectually, Repetition (Air) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Mata Pelajaran Akidah Akhlak Siswa Kelas IV Mi Bustanul Mutta’alimin Setro Menganti Gresik
Abstract
This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) learning method in improving the learning outcomes of Akidah Akhlak subjects of grade IV students of MI Bustanul Mutta’alimin Setro Menganti Gresik. This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students due to the use of conventional methods that do not actively involve students. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of the planning stage, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 20 grade IV students. Data collection techniques included observation of teacher and student activities, posttest learning outcome tests, and field notes. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study showed an increase in various aspects, namely teacher activity from 68% to 88%, student activity from 60% to 86%, student average scores from 75.5 to 87.75, and classical completeness from 45% to 85%. These findings indicate that systematic application of the AIR method can improve student engagement and learning outcomes, as well as support the achievement of character education goals through an active, interactive, and meaningful learning approach.References
