The research method is Quasi-Experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was all students in class IV of SD Labschool UNESA 2, totaling 39 children. The sample in this study consisted of 18 class IV A students (experimental class) and 21 class IV B students (control class) taken using saturated sampling techniques. The instruments used are test instruments and questionnaires. The material used is data presentation. In the N-Gain test results, the experimental class obtained an average value of 0.57 and the control class obtained an average value of 0.37. So it can be concluded that the application of the ICARE (Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection and Extension) learning model in the experimental class has a greater influence on the critical thinking abilities of class IV students at SD Labschool UNESA 2.</em></p> M. This study used a quantitative approach using the true experimental design method and a pretest-posttest control group design. This study was conducted in the experimental and control classes. The results showed that the use of magic boxes was in the &quot;very good&quot; category for use in learning. The effect of using magic boxes applied to the experimental class could improve numeracy skills, as evidenced by the pretest results of students in the experimental and control classes obtaining the highest score of 65 and the lowest score of 39. However, after being given treatment, the posttest results showed that the numeracy skills of students in the experimental class experienced a more significant increase and obtained scores above the KKTP when compared to the control class. The experimental class obtained the highest score of 95 and the lowest 69 in the very high and high categories, while in the control class the highest score was 81 and the lowest 56 in the high and quite high categories. In mathematics learning, especially multiplication material, students should understand the concept of multiplication in order to get maximum learning results.</span></span> <span class="jCAhz ChMk0b"><span class="ryNqvb">However, research conducted at MI Al-Azhar shows that in mathematics learning multiplication material, not all students understand the concept of multiplication because there is no use of learning media using concrete objects.</span></span> <span class="jCAhz ChMk0b"><span class="ryNqvb">This study aims to describe the process of developing multiplication board learning media using concrete objects, testing the practicality of learning media, and testing the effectiveness of learning media.</span></span> <span class="jCAhz"><span class="ryNqvb">This multiplication board learning media was developed to improve the learning outcomes of grade II students at MI Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik.</span></span> <span class="jCAhz ChMk0b"><span class="ryNqvb">Researchers used the RnD research type with the ADDIE model using observation research instruments, student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest understanding tests on students.</span></span> <span class="jCAhz"><span class="ryNqvb">The results of the development of this multiplication board media in the feasibility test had an average percentage score of 96.8%, meaning that this board learning media is very good or very suitable for use.</span></span> <span class="jCAhz"><span class="ryNqvb">Then the results of the practicality test got a percentage of 98% from the results of the implementation of learning and 96.2% from the student response questionnaire.</span></span> <span class="jCAhz"><span class="ryNqvb">which means this media is practical to use.</span></span> <span class="jCAhz"><span class="ryNqvb">In addition, it can also improve students' conceptual understanding with evidence of the n gain test from the pretest and posttest understanding tests which have an average score of 0.79 which means students experienced an increase after using the multiplication board learning media.</span></span></span></p> Lidya Septiani, Ria Resti Fauziah, M. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&amp;D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu; (1) Analisis, (2) Desain, (3) Development (Pengembangan), (4) Implementasi, dan (5) Evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa observasi terhadap guru, respon angket siswa, serta nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test siswa pada soal literasi sains. Hasil dari pengembangan media komik digital berbasis STEM ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains dengan nilai rata-rata 0,81 melalui skala n-gain dan menunjukkan kategori yang tinggi. Media komik digital ini juga dinyatakan valid dengan total skor rata-rata 3,79 dengan kategori sangat baik. Selain itu, media komik digital juga dianggap praktis karna sudah terlaksana dengan baik sesuai dengann tahapan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific. Media komik digital ini juga dinyatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Azhar Menganti yang dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan antara nilai pre-test dan post-test.
