Tradisi Khidmah Santri di Pondok Pesantren; Menggali Nilai dan Makna

Abstract

This study aims to find the values instilled in the Khidmah tradition pattern that is commonly applied in many Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. This research data attempts to analyze what personality values are dominantly instilled in the personalities of students through the Khidmah tradition in Islamic boarding schools. And the results of this data collection will be analyzed for differentiation between the Khidmah tradition in one Islamic boarding school and another, whether there are similarities in the process towards results and how the patterns and methods are. This study uses a simple or manual Systematic Literature Review (SLR) research method (not application-based). The results of this study indicate that the values instilled in the Khidmah tradition of students in many Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia include instilling a spirit of sincerity, tawadhu' (humility and sincerity), a sense of discipline and collective responsibility for the mandate, independence, solidarity and togetherness, responsibility and social concern. And if analyzed which values are dominant or widely instilled through the Khidmah tradition, it cannot be chosen one or two, because all of the values above are all programmed content in the Khidmah tradition for students in Islamic boarding schools. And the third problem formulation has been answered by itself through the analysis that there are similarities in values instilled in the personalities of the students through the Khidmah program, even though there are differences in the types of activities.
